Cat!

Well we got a cat. It is soooooo cute. Her name is Winnie but we have been calling her Minnie, Jack calls her minnie winnie. She is 3 years old, has had all her shots and has been spayed. She also came with the chip in her back in case she gets lost. We went to the Humane Society and she was sooo cute and only $25. She is really playful but still a litle afraid of the kids. I wanna go back and get fluffy this other really cute one that is a little younger than Minnie and fluffier, same color though. For now one is plenty.

For those of you....

who think I am a blogging FAILURE here ya go. Kari did my hair last weekend and took family photos, of course she posted about it but still hasn't put up my pics, lol. We had so much fun. I miss spending time out at Aunt Joyce's by the lake. As we were driving back to the lake Jack said "why are we going into the forest." He is sooooooo funny.

Well this week has been crappy at work, my computer is done! So I have been bringing my laptop into work. Anyway, here are a few pics and I will DO MY BEST, do write more later.

So all you lurkers out there who USED to visit her blog... get in here and tell her she is doing a horrible job updating!!! Remember she has family all over the US who like to feel connected to the kids and her and this is also a great way to document times with the kids when life goes too fast and we forget all the little things! So.... I challenge any of you to give Jessi a hard time in the comment section and tell her she HAS to get back to blogging regularly! Lets shoot for once per week. Then we will remove the below statement!

Fun day with my Kids....

Well today was another great day! I woke up and decided we would go garage sailing. So we all got ready for the day and headed to buddies to buy a news paper. We found some garage sales in the ads and then found a few on the way to them. At our first stop we found a book for Lauren of barn yard animals and a fire truck shelf for Jack. At the next one I found an expensive TI-85 calculator for 5$. I have been stressing because I need one for math next semester and they are sooooooo expensive. So now I am super happy! The next couple ones we went to were crappy but then we got out to Hanover area and I got Lauren these really cute gymboree cords, they are tan and 4t but she will grow and they were only a quarter. Jack wanted spider man goggles, I don't know why but he wanted them. They were only a dollar and still in the package so we got them. Then we did something I have been dying to do with them for a long time, I just wish we had Kari's camera. But I will make her and her crew go with us next time because as she pointed out to me last night her picture quality is way better then mine, go figure right but I paid less for mine, lol. Anyway, we went to McCourtie park, the park with the bridges. My dad use to take me there when I was little and I loved it. The kids did too. We went on every bridge and got some good exercise. We walked up and down the hill and ran all over the place. It was soooooo much fun! We came home after that and i cleaned up my house and then we sat and watched a little tv, oh wait let me rephrase that, i sat and watched tv they jumped around and ran through the house. Then I made dinner. Hamburger helper, corn and salad. They ate really good even Jack. So we went and got ice cream.

Lauren got it every where but her mouth, including in her hair. So now we are home and they are in the tub. Next, we are doing pj's and we are going to get all cozy on the couch for a movie and some cuddle time. TTYL!

The perfect end, to the perfect day!

Well the day started out good. I woke and even got a shower in first thing! Kari went to work and I kept Carson for her. I got all the kids fed and we went outside to play. I saw that the park owner was at the office and so I went to reserve the club house for Jack's birthday party. When we got there she said they were having the end of school party and that we had to come and eat and play games. So when Kari got home that is where we headed.

The party was a lot of fun! Tons of food, candy, desert and snow cones! The kids played games and got some prizes and a HUGE sugar buzz! We decided to go to the lake and so I called Lee to see if it was ok. He said yes and so we started to prepare for that. I asked Jack to go lay down and rest for a few minutes in my room and relax a few minutes later he was out! When he woke up Lauren had fallen asleep. I said oh well it is to late for a nap now anyway. I loaded them up, packed a little cooler and we were off.

We got there and the kids played and Lee took us out in the boat. It wasn't the same with out my mom there. We had a good time anyway. Lauren loved going fast in the boat but Jack liked going slow, for once in his life! But we enjoyed the boat ride.

We headed home and drove through Norvell. I remember taking Sunday drives with my dad when I was little and going to the bridge or mill or whatever it is called. So we went and I thought the kids would enjoy seeing it, and they did. It was beautiful but it made me nervous I was afraid they would fall off the bridge.

Then we went to McDonald's. SO now we are home, they are watching Nemo on TV and thank God, are getting tired. The only thing missing from our day was Kenedey and my mom :(

Finally.........

Well I know I haven't blogged in ages so I don't have any pictures but I thought I would bring you all up to speed on what has been going on in our lives. Well as you all know I have been taking summer classes at JCC. Let me just tell you what my schedule has been like the past two weeks. Last Wednesday i had Exam 3 in math, then on Saturday we had Lauren's second birthday party, Monday I had CPR class, and then Wednesday I had exam 4 in math and Thursday Final Exam in math. Lauren's b-day was awesome! She had a blast playing in her frosting. She got these cool green shoes from my cousin and would not take them off. She loves them! I hate math! I have also been good at math but I absolutely HATE it! Well as the short 6 week semester came to a quick end I had a test on a Wednesday, and than one on the following Wednesday and then our Final exam was to be on Thursday. I got very sick, allergies, before our Wednesday exam. I still managed to get an 84% but that was a lot lower then my first 2 test that were 92%. So with that test out of the way I was trying to study as much as I could to make up for it. Then we found out or Awesome Instructor made the final exam optional!!!!!! Yeah!!!! I got a 90% on the 4 Exam which made my average test grade 89.5% he put that for my Final Exam grade and over all 4.0 in the class, YEAH!!!!! How AWESOME IS THAT. On Monday my sister watched my kids so I could go take a CPR class for my other summer class. I am also taking Intro to Health Occupations and I have to get CPR certified for that class and for my program. So I get to the class on Monday and they mention something about the test being after Wednesday nights class, I am thinking wait a minute we have to come on Wednesday night too. Turns out it wasn't a Monday or Wednesday night class, it was Monday and Wednesday night. Oh well, the class and the people I was with were really fun. Oh yeah and I passed.

Hey Kari, what's the ratio of chest compressions to rescue breaths................times up 30:2 and STAND CLEAR machine is scanning.......STAND CLEAR ready to SHOCK! lol

So now that my week is over and my math class is done I have 5 more quiz's for my other classes, one more big paper and a few discussions to do and I am D.U.N. for the semester!!!!!! I am gonna rock this semester and 4.0 both classes which will dramatically raise my GPA and hopefully get me into my program for Winter semester. Well this weekend I will get some pictures up and talk more about the kids. TTYL!
